This is my first blog ever so don't really know how to start this off but i guess i'll start with introducing myself...
My name is Renata Drucker and I am a doctor and a scientist on an adventure. For the next 8 weeks i'll be traveling to places where natural disasters occur(or can occur) to help people recover and study why the disasters happen. First I will be traveling not so far away from my own home (Seattle) to the cascades where you probably have heard about the devastating eruption of Mount Rainer which has caused a lot of damage, injuries and chaos. Then i'll be off to eastern Africa to act as a normal doctor and explore the volcanoes there. The rest is a surprise for now. Never know what might happen.
Well i've decided at the end of every post I'll remind you to live life, love people and the environment and help the world be a better place. Sounds sorta cheesy but true!
So i'll talk to you guys next time when I'm helping people in the cascades.
See ya for now
